Frequently asked questions
How long does an inspection take?
Typically 2-3 hours, depending on the size and condition of the home. Older homes and properties with outbuildings or additions can take longer.
Do I need to be there?
No, but it helps. You can walk through and ask questions on the spot. If you can’t attend, you’ll get your full report and a phone recap. If you have limited time we can also go through it after the inspection is completed so you know all the deficiencies.
What won't be inspected?
Hidden or inaccessible areas, such as inside walls, locked spaces, underground sewer lines, and buried footings. An inspection is visual and non-invasive.
Does it pass or fail?
No. It’s a report on condition, not a grade. You’ll see what needs attention now, what to plan for, and what’s working as intended.
What areas do you serve?
Prince Albert and surrounding communities, including Shellbrook, Birch Hills, Christopher Lake, Emma Lake, and Candle Lake.
